Google has been hit with a lawsuit from startup CamUp, which claims that the firm stole its concept for the video-sharing button it recently implemented on YouTube and its social network, Google+. New York-based CamUp alleges that execs met with Google in May last year regarding the possibility of inserting the button into videos, but that Google did not answer its calls, despite execs at the search engine firm being "extremely enthusiastic". CamUp claims that it then experienced a spike in traffic to its website from Mountain View, California, where Google is headquarted, before the firm appropriated the concept for itself.
