Expensify gets USD5.75m for expense reporting software

Expensify has raised USD5.75m in a Series A funding round led by Redpoint Ventures that includes return backers Hillsven Capital, Baseline Capital and angel Travis Kalanick. The company makes an application that imports expenses from receipts and credit cards and submits expense reports by email. As part of the deal, Redpoint partner Tim Haley is joining Expensify's board.
