The president of the Wall Street Journal's digital network is resigning after four years, having helped the unit display "extraordinary growth", according to Dow Jones president Todd Larsen. Gordon McLeod oversaw the business operations for the online version of the newspaper as well as handling digital products such as financial information site MarketWatch.
Dow Jones, which owns the WSJ, is also losing the president of Dow Jones Ventures, Ann Sarnoff. She launched the WSJ's conferencing business and financial career site FINS.com and oversaw the firm's classifieds business, now called Vertical Markets. Sarnoff is leaving to become COO of BBC Worldwide America.
