Amazon.com firm Amazon Web Services is set to expand into the Asia-Pacific region in the first half of 2010 with the intention of allowing businesses “to deploy and commute storage resources” within close reach of their end users. Amazon Web Services will make its infrastructure services available to businesses and software developers in Singapore during the first half of 2010 and then in other Asia-Pacific countries in the latter half of the year. The company's list of services will include Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) and Amazon Cloud Front.
