Microsoft shuts down Q&A service

Microsoft is shutting down its Q&A service as part of the ongoing realignment of its online services business. The company launched MSN QnA in August 2006, a few months before Google terminated Google Answers.
With a total of 3m questions, the service hasn’t proved as popular as Yahoo! Answers, which has accumulated 750m answers to date.
