Power Assure raises USD2.5m for data centre efficiency

US-based Power Assure has raised USD2.5m in a Series A funding round led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson. The company develops and delivers power management technology for data centres. By managing server capacity, Power Assurance claims its software can reduce energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions by an average of 50%. The firm has also announced its new executive team and members of its board of directors.
