Live Nation debuts Facebook-based live music search tool

Live events organiser Live Nation, which runs a web search service for music tour dates, artists and venues, is offering a new Facebook-based tool to help music fans search for and buy concert tickets directly from their Facebook pages. The My Live Nation offering is designed to allow users to customise their Live Nation search pages to receive a personalised touring calendar tailored to their specific musical tastes. Users can also sync their music libraries with their My Live Nation account to automatically receive concert updates on their favourite artists.

Live Nation's websites are the second most-visited event websites in the US, according to Nielsen/NetRatings.
