Russian Facebook investor Digital Sky Technologies (DST) is reportedly in talks with South African holding company Naspers about merging their Polish assets. According to a report by Russian business paper Kommersant, the deal could see the companies combine DST-owned social network Nasza-Klasa with Naspers-owned MSN-style messaging system, Gadu Gadu.

Deal Details

Nasza-Klasa, which some commentators have dubbed the "Facebook of Poland" has some 27m users and is reportedly the biggest social network in the country. DST currently owns 75% of the network, while Naspers owns Gadu Gadu outright. It would not be the first time the companies have worked together - DST and Naspers co-own Russia's Mail.ru portal.
