Widget company RatePoint raises USD10m

RatePoint, a company that helps websites collect user feedback, has raised USD10m in a second round of funding, led by Castile Ventures. Existing investors 406 Ventures and Prism VentureWorks also participated to the round. RatePoint develops widgets that can be used by sites owners to gauge users’ opinions about products. The data can then be displayed publicly or be aggregated for internal use. The company previously raised USD6.5m in a first round of funding in 2007.
