Communications firm Voxeo raises USD9m

Voxeo has raised USD9m from investors North Atlantic Capital and the Florida Growth Fund. The company says it will use the capital to fund future acquisitions and for the development of its services. The company has previously acquired Motorola’s voice XML browser, IMified, Voiceobjects and Micromethod. Based in the US, Voxeo provides voice communications services through interactive voice response (IVR) and voice-over-IP (VoIP).
