Mobile social communication service Fring is being released for all smartphones that run Google’s mobile operating system Android. Fring allows users to make free voice-over-IP (VoIP) calls over Skype, MSN and GoogleTalk and can be downloaded for free from the Android Market or from Fring’s WAP site. Fring for Android works over 3G, GPRS or Wi-Fi connections.

Fring will face competition from rival services Meebo, Nimbuzz and eBuddy which are also available on Android-supported smartphones.
