Alterian boosts social media tools with Intrepid acquisition

Marketing services provider Alterian is buying social media consultancy firm Intrepid and plans to expand its marketing support by offering clients a "packaged solution of social media analytics and market research capability". Intrepid has 40 employees and offices in Seattle, London and Vietnam.

Deal Details

In the last couple of years, UK-based Alterian has acquired online content manager Mediasurface and social media monitor Techrigy. It has not disclosed financial terms of the Intrepid deal.
