At first, nFluence Media appears to offer little more than a discounts app that targets offers to specific users. But CEO Henry Lawson says the app is just a means to showcase technology that he claims lets advertisers, brands and companies better target consumers with relevant content, recommendations, deals and ads. nFluence spent a year building that technology, and is now in licensing talks with a number of firms, some of them household names.
