Online fashion retailer Matches has raised UD12m from Scottish Equity Partners (SEP). As part of the deal, SEP partner Andrew Davison is joining the Matches board. The company has 14 brick-and-mortar stores across London, but makes about 60% of its revenues from its website. Matches claims users can browse merchandise from more than 250 designers, including Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent. The company says it will use the funding to expand its online operations into key international markets.
