SpotOn raises USD5m for digital loyalty network

SpotOn has raised USD5m from its founders to expand its rewards and marketing services for small businesses. SpotOn helps businesses set up loyalty schemes by installing tablets in-store to let consumers check in using a smartphone or card to earn rewards, discounts and coupons. Since its launch in April this year it has already attracted over 1,500 merchants and is signing up more than 500 new businesses a month, claiming to boost its customer’s sales by 35%.
