Some 60% of developers intending to create apps for Windows Phone

Microsoft's Windows Phone operating system is slowly winning over developers, with increasing numbers planning to create apps for the platform. According to a new report from VisionMobile, almost 60% of developers surveyed "plan" to develop for Windows Phone OS, though the analysis firm points out that the buzz must translate into actual adoption for Microsoft to begin making headway against smartphone leaders Apple and Google. Some 32% of developers had similar intentions last year, according to VisionMobile, but that translated to just 1% actually developing for Windows Phone.
