Video-calling healthcare app Ringadoc grabs USD750,000

Ringadoc, a startup that provides virtual access to doctors, has secured USD750,000 in a seed funding round led by FF Angel, with participation from technology incubator Curious Minds and angel Ryan Howard of Practice Fusion. In a bid to tackle growing healthcare costs in the US, San Francisco-based Ringadoc lets patients directly speak to healthcare professionals using video via mobile or desktop devices. During a consultation users can get an advice, diagnose and a medication prescription.
