Consumers spend more time on mobile web than TV

Consumers now spend more time on their mobile devices than watching TV, spending 27% of their time browsing media on their phone versus 22% on TV, according to new stats from InMobi. The ad network claims that consumers are increasingly unable to resist the lure of pocket devices versus the small screen, with social media, general web browsing and, crucially, entertainment such as streaming films proving the most popular activities.
