Fanzy, a Facebook app that rewards fans for sharing brand content on the social network, has raised USD500,000 in seed financing from angels including angels Gary Stiffleman, Ziffren Brittenham and Roland Swenson, CEO of SXSW music festival. The San Francisco-based company’s total funding is now USD850,000. Fanzy rewards, which number 2m in total, include badges, real-world rewards, online content and exclusive discounts. The firm claims to work with more than 14,000 brands, reaching a total of 240m Facebook fans.
