Google adds Google+ share button to homepage

Google is adding a Google+ sharing button to its homepage that will allow users to share content including videos, photos, comments, posts and locations while they search. First launching in the US, Google is rolling out the new feature gradually over the coming weeks. This marks the first time that Google has added anything besides a search function to its homepage. The share box expands when clicked to allow content sharing from any Google page, except for YouTube.
