Fujitsu is planning to launch a new range of smartphone and tablet devices in Europe, in its first push into the European market. Fujitsu is already one of Japan’s largest handset and tablet makers, with about one-fifth of market share, and is looking to challenge market leaders Apple and Samsung in the European space. The manufacturer, which makes smartphones running on Microsoft’s Windows Phone and Google’s Android operating system, says that it is also planning to expand its business into the US either this year or next year.
