R&B and hip-hop music blog RnBXclusive.com has been shut down by the UK’s Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) over allegations of copyright theft. The operators of the site have also been arrested, as the result of the fraud investigation. SOCA is also threatening “up to 10 years of imprisonment and an unlimited fine under UK law” for any users who have downloaded music from the site. In a move designed to scare visitors, the site is now also displaying the IP address, browser and OS, and access time of visitors.
