Path lets users opt-out of automatic contact sharing

Photo social network Path is updating its iOS app to enable users to opt out of automatic contact sharing as it responds to a growing row over privacy invasion. CEO and co-founder Dave Morin has spoken out to apologise for the practice, flagged up by a developer this week, although he warns that this is common practice among app publishers.
