Yahoo!’s chairman, Roy Bostock, and three other directors, are stepping down from the firm’s board as part of the latest move by Yahoo! to turnaround its fortunes and win back investor confidence. Bostock, along with Vyomesh Joshi, Arthur Kern and Gary Wilson, will not stand for re-election at the company's annual meeting in June, with former eBay exec Maynard Webb and ex-Rovi CEO Alfred Amoroso set to join the board. Yahoo! says it is also on the lookout for “a couple” more board members, although it is not specific about how many. The decision means that the firm now has a seven-member board, all appointed since 2010 as Yahoo! seeks to make a clean break following years of poor growth and increasing shareholder pressure.
