Video startup Brightcove is pricing its IPO, offering 5m shares at between USD10 and USD12, meaning that the Massachusetts-based company could raise up to USD60m when it goes public. This share price is equivalent to a valuation of between USD263.8m and USD316.5m, and is an advance on the startup's August estimate of a USD50m IPO. Brightcove's HTML5 platform allows content providers to upload video to the web, with options for live, on-demand and mobile content. The company also offers a cloud-based product, App Cloud, which aims to simplify the process of creating mobile apps.
