TerraEchos skewers USD1.55m for big data security

Online security company TerraEchoshas raised USD1.55m in a seed funding round led by Flywheel Ventures, with S&K Technologies and GCS Research also contributing. The investment will be used to expand the company’s software development team and increase its business development presence. TerraEchos’ Kairos software system analyses big data to detect threats and anomalies in real-time as data is streamed streams across networks. TerraEchos is also appointing Bill Hartman as president and COO.
