Google launches Google+ developer page

Tue Feb 7 2012, 16:58 PM

Google is opening up Google+ to developers with a new page that will be a dedicated source of office hours-style video hangouts and best practises for using the +Platform APIs. The +Platform currently features read-only APIs and tools for creating user badges, but the developer community is eagerly anticipating the rollout of write APIs from the Google+ team. Chris Chabot, head of the Google+ developer-relations team, says “Our team will host regular hangouts to talk about the +Platform, your experiences with it, and share tips and tricks with the community”.
