UK-based startup GoCardless has raised USD1.5m to launch its direct debit service, which hopes to streamline payments to small businesses. The company graduated from Y Combinator in 2011, with the incubator joining Accel Partners, Passion Capital, SV Angel and Start Fund in leading the round.
