Google has lured away one of Apple’s senior directors, Simon Prakash, according to VentureBeat. The move comes after the Department of Justice banned the pair from allegedly working out a “no poach” agreement after it was alleged that the two companies – along with Pixar, Lucasfilm, Intel and Intuit, conspired to suppress employee compensation by not poaching one another’s employees. Prakash was senior director of product integrity at Apple, and he may have been hired to work on one of Google’s new hardware products.
