Peek has raised USD15m, to support its new focus on cloud software platforms for Asian markets, according to VentureBeat. Investors are not named, but it's likely that the funding link is with Peek's Chinese or Indian HQs, rather than its New York base. After dropping a previous connected-device hardware business, the company is concentrating on a service for lower-income markets designed to bring smartphone apps to feature phones.
