Hutchison Whampoa completes Orange Austria purchase

Hutchison Whampoa has finalised its purchase of Austria's third-largest mobile operator, Orange Austria, which will merge with Hutchison 3G Austria to create an entity with 22% market share within the country. The final price came in at EUR1.3bn (USD1.7bn), slightly lower than estimated.
