Bluetooth app Mosoro bags USD1.5m

Bluetooth app developer Mosoro has scooped USD1.5m in a Series A funding round led by angels Mike Beaudoin and Rodney Rice, with participation from venture firms High Country Venture and Tango.  The Colorado-based firm develops Bluetooth hardware and corresponding apps for smartphones. The firm says it is planning to spend the new funding on developing its technology and accelerating its range of products across new verticals. Mosoro is also looking to grow its employee base. Mosoro has already made 2 Bluetooth accessories - 3-D Sport and Weather - and has two more in the works, Talk and Bonsai. The accessories connect with smartphone and include tools such as motion recording and weather reporting.
