Top Skype executive departs
Skype is losing its VP for emerging opportunities, as IP communications expert Jonathan Christensen hands in his resignation. Christensen, who worked for Skype for more than six years, held various leadership positions within the firm, and was with the company during its purchase by Microsoft. He oversaw Skype's entry into the IPTV and set-top box platforms. According to Skype's official statement, Christensen plans to "enjoy time with his family and get energised for the next phase of his career".
