Samsung's Galaxy SIII smartphone will not debut at February's Mobile World Congress (MWC), but "at a separate Samsung-hosted event in the first half of the year". The latest version of Samsung's Google Android phone is hotly anticipated, but may be damaged by the EU's new intervention into the ongoing patent battle between Apple and the Korean firm. Samsung say the new launch date will be "closer to commercial availability of the product".
