Google will easily see off its rivals in search this year, with the firm's ad revenues set to grow faster than the competition in 2012, according to new stats from eMarketer. The firm is set to hit USD20.28bn in search revenues by 2014 - almost 10 times the USD2.21bn Microsoft will pull in via its Bing search engine. Overall, eMarketer expects search ad spend to remain strong this year, with revenues rising 27% to hit USD19.51bn, giving Google 77.9% of the market, up from 74.4% last year. Microsoft trails a distant second at just 7%, while Yahoo! will hold 4.5% and AOL just 1%.
