Toronto firm SeaWell Networks, a multi-platform video delivery developer, has raised USD5m Series B financing in a round led by Northwater Intellectual Property Fund LP 2, with participation from BDC Venture Capital. The money will be used to support ongoing customer trials, as well as expanding sales and distribution, and developing the company’s key product offering, Spectrum. Spectrum enables streaming to multiple devices, giving network operators greater session control.
