Mozilla is bringing its latest browser release, Firefox 10, out of beta. It is designed with the help of a former Google engineer hired by Firefox in an attempt to claw back the market leader position which it lost to Google's Chrome browser in December. Long-term user adoption of Chrome over Firefox would have serious implications for Mozilla, an open-source foundation, by making its search default partnership with Google redundant.
