Cambrios Technologies scores USD5m for touchscreen technology

California firm Cambrios Technologieshas raised USD5m from Samsung Ventures Investment. The firm is also appointing John LeMoncheck as its new CEO, who will help develop the company’s sales and marketing. The company uses nanotechnology to create a thin transparent film that can conduct electricity and can be used to add touchscreen capability to any kind of display. After LeMoncheck’s appointment, current CEO and founding president Michael Knapp will become chairman.
