Twitter is reportedly expanding its brand pages to any marketers committed to spending at least USD25,000 on advertising on the microblogging site as the firm looks to shore up its revenue stream and business model. An AdAge report claims that the roll-out will begin this week, enabling more brands to customise their Twitter accounts with features such as banner ads and auto-expanding tweets. Twitter launched brand pages last month, but the service was only available to a limited group of 21 advertisers, including American ExpressDisney and Pepsi, that had committed to spending in excess of USD2m on Twitter.
