GetHired snags USD1.75m for online recruitment
GetHired, an online recruitment platform, has raised seed funding of USD1.75m from several angel investors including Jeffrey Leonard, CEO of the Global Environment Fund, former CEO of Discovery Communications and current under-secretary of state for public diplomacy and affairs. John Suh, CEO of LegalZoom.com and Mack Capital CEO Ralph Mack also participated.Job seekers can upload video and audio profiles alongside accompany their resumes, while employers can post job adverts for free and conduct the interview process through real-time video chat. GetHired says that it plans to monetise its listing in the future.
