iPhone and iPad developers that cut the price of their apps in Apple's App Store see a significant jump in revenue, according to a new report by app store analytics firm Distimo that explores ways developers can increase their revenues and gain publicity. The firm found that average iPad app revenues surged 52% in the first day after developers cut the price of their app, while iPhone apps saw a 41% revenue increase. Android apps also experience revenue growth when developers cut their price, but the increase is only 7% on the first day of the sale, although this rises to 29% over the course of 15 days.
