Intercom hooks USD1m for CRM software

Intercom, a startup providing customer relationship management (CRM) software, has raised USD1m from angel investors including Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, Andy McLoughlin, Dan Martell, and Dave McClure’s 500 Startups fund. VC firm Digital Garage also participated in the funding. Intercom is a tool for web-based businesses, including messaging, analytics, interaction tracking and customer management. Intercom is currently in a free beta period, and claims to have already helped 1,500 individuals from 500 companies manage relationships with more than 1m customers.
