Social ad company 33Across has acquiredTynt Multimedia, a reader engagement tracker, in a private stock transaction for an undisclosed amount. 33Across provides analytics for brands to track their social media influence across the web, while Tynt's tool tracks copy and paste activity from websites in order to gain a picture of user engagement. The tool also automatically inserts a link back to the original page if a user does paste content on a new page or site, helping publishers to retain and attract audiences.
