Microsoft is launching a Hotmail app for Amazon's Kindle Fire tablet, saying it is "critical" that its users can access the email service from "any device they choose". Microsoft claims its Hotmail app has already been downloaded on 15m devices, including those running on Google's Android operating system and Apple's iOS, as well as its own Windows Phone platform. The Kindle Fire app is now available for free download from the Kindle Store.
