The release of the latest iteration of the iPhone, the 4S, in mid-October boosted Apple’s position in the enterprise market, with iOS accounting for more than 70% of all devices activated in Q4, according to corporate mobile software firm Good Technology. Speaking to StrategyEye, Good Technology’s GM for EMEA, Andrew Jacques, says Apple saw “staggering sales growth” in the fourth quarter that translated to significant uptake in the enterprise as workers increasingly use their own devices for business purposes. Overall, Apple accounted for all of the top five devices by enterprise activation, with the iPhone 4S in first spot, followed by the iPhone 4, iPad 2, iPad and iPhone 3GS.
