Big-data startup Continuuity wins funding

Continuuity, a stealth “big data” startup, has raised a new funding round from Battery Ventures, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Ignition Partners. A host of angel investors including Bob Pasker, Paul Ambrose, Matt Ocko and The Data Collective also participated. Details of the product that Continuity is building remain shadowy but the firm says its aim is to “enable the development of the next wave of real-time Big Data applications”.
