Semiconductor firm Avalanche scoops USD11.5m

Semiconductor startupAvalanche Technology has raised USD11.5m in a new funding round led by Vulcan Capital, with additional backing coming from Sequoia Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Thomvest Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures and Leader Ventures. The company focuses on its Spring Programmable Memory (SPMEM), a high-speed memory technology that stores data even when the power is turned off, bridging the gap between memory and storage.
