BuzzDoes, the firm behind a new social marketing tool for mobile app developers, has secured USD750,000 in seed funding from Proxima Ventures and a number of angel investors. The tool allows developers to add a BuzzDoes’ recommendation button to their apps using a single line of code. Once installed, users are rewarded with BuzzDoes points for recommending the app in question to their friends, in a bid to digitalise the traditionally organic process of word-of-mouth recommendation.
