Microsoft’s Windows Phone will surpass Apple’s iOS for second place in the market by 2015, according to iSuppli, which predicts the operating system will have 16.7% market share in three years’ time. Apple’s market share is expected to decline a total of 18% in the period to just 16.6%. Android is tipped to suffer less of an impact from Windows Phone’s growing share, with its slice of the market expected to grow from 47.4% to 58.1% by 2015.
