AT&T considering Dish Network acquisition – Rumour

AT&T is rumoured to be considering buying Dish Network for 77% more than its current stock price, which would make it the highest premium in over a decade. According to Bloomberg sources, AT&T is looking to make a strategic acquisition after the company’s USD39bn bid for T-Mobile USA fell through. The firm needs to acquire spectrum to stay competitive, with Dish’s spectrum thought to be worth around USD9.4bn.
